About the Role

Our client, a leader in sustainable development, is seeking a visionary Director of Sustainable Construction Projects to lead groundbreaking initiatives focused on eco-friendly building practices. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to execution and final delivery, ensuring all projects meet rigorous sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the strategic planning and execution of sustainable construction projects globally.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and sustainability certifications (e.g., LEED, BREEAM).
- Oversee the selection and management of contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Drive innovation in sustainable building design and construction methodologies.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and environmental specialists.
- Communicate project status and sustainability metrics to senior management and stakeholders.




- Promote a culture of sustainability and environmental awareness within project teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and sustainability.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Environmental Science.
- 10+ years of experience in construction project management, with a significant focus on sustainable or green building projects.
- In-depth knowledge of sustainable building materials, technologies, and energy-efficient design principles.
- Proven experience managing complex, large-scale construction projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with sustainability rating systems (LEED AP, BREEAM, etc.).
- Ability to work effectively and autonomously in a remote environment.
- Experience managing projects in diverse geographical regions is an advantage.
