About the Role

Our client, a growing multinational corporation with significant operations in Mexico, is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Gerente de Finanzas Corporativas y Planificación to join their team in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca . This role is integral to the financial health and strategic direction of the company in the region. You will be responsible for financial planning and analysis (FP&A;), budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and providing strategic financial insights to senior management. The adecuado candidate will possess a strong understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, and financial regulations, coupled with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. This position requires a proactive leader who can manage complex financial operations and contribute to informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities

- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A;) process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Develop complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario analysis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and debt financing activities.




- Ensure compliance with all accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Provide financial guidance and support to various business units and departments.
- Optimize financial processes and implement financial systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay informed about economic trends and their potential impact on the company's financial performance.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- A CPA or CFA designation is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, or investment banking.
- Proven experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/US GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Experience in a multinational corporate environment is essential.
- Fluency in Spanish is required; English proficiency is mandatory.
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to Oaxaca City, Oaxaca .
