About the Role

Our client, a renowned manufacturer of high-precision components for the aerospace and automotive industries, located in San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí , is seeking an experienced and results-driven Manufacturing Operations Manager. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production facility, ensuring operational excellence, meeting production targets, and maintaining the highest quality standards. The adecuado candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing, operational efficiency, and team leadership within a precision manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and direct all production operations to meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production supervisors, engineers, and associates.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and environmental policies.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Manage the production budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.
- Collaborate with supply chain, quality assurance, and engineering departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor production performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Drive initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Foster a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing department.

Requirements





- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing) or Business Administration.
- An MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven experience managing precision manufacturing processes, ideally in aerospace, automotive, or medical devices.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing operational budgets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic operational plans.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
