About the Role

WhatJobs Direct is actively recruiting for a skilled Instalador y Técnico de Sistemas de Bombeo y Presurización to join our client's team in Hermosillo, Sonora . This role is essential for the installation, maintenance, and repair of water pumping systems, pressure boosting systems, and related equipment for municipal, commercial, and industrial applications. The idóneo candidate will have a strong understanding of fluid dynamics, pump mechanics, electrical controls, and water treatment processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of critical water infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving issues to maintain optimal water supply and pressure. This position requires technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Install, commission, and test various types of water pumps, booster systems, and associated controls. Perform routine preventive maintenance on pumping and pressurization equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and operational issues with pumps, motors, and control panels. Read and interpret technical manuals, hydraulic schematics, and electrical diagrams. Troubleshoot issues related to water flow, pressure, and system efficiency. Ensure all installations and repairs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts replaced, and system performance data. Provide technical support and guidance to clients on system operation and maintenance.



Respond promptly to emergency service calls and system malfunctions. Collaborate with engineering and project management teams on system upgrades and new installations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Pump Technician, Water Systems Specialist, or similar role. Strong understanding of pump types (centrifugal, submersible), motors, and control systems (VFDs, PLCs). Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in pumping systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, hydraulic diagrams, and electrical schematics. Knowledge of fluid mechanics and hydraulics is essential. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in diverse field locations. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Technical certifications in mechanics, electrical systems, or relevant fields are advantageous.
