About the Role

Our client, a dynamic leader in the telecommunications space, is seeking a skilled Ingeniero de Redes de Voz sobre IP (VoIP) to join their technology team. This position is fully remote , offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere. The role involves the design, implementation, management, and optimization of VoIP and unified communications systems, ensuring seamless and high-quality voice services for clients. You will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and performance of voice networks, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting the integration of new voice technologies. Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and manage VoIP infrastructure, including PBX systems, gateways, and session border controllers (SBCs).
- Configure and maintain unified communications platforms and related services.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot VoIP-related issues, such as call quality problems, latency, and jitter.
- Ensure the security and stability of voice networks.
- Collaborate with network and system administrators to ensure optimal integration of VoIP services.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for VoIP systems and configurations.
- Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in VoIP, unified communications,



and telecommunications.
- Provide technical support and guidance on VoIP solutions to internal teams and clients.
- Participate in capacity planning and network upgrades for voice services.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in VoIP network engineering and administration.
- Strong understanding of VoIP protocols such as SIP, H.323, RTP, and RTCP.
- Experience with major VoIP platforms and SBCs (e.g., Cisco CallManager, Asterisk, Genesys, Oracle SBC).
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, QoS, VLANs, and routing.
- Experience troubleshooting voice quality issues and network performance.
- Familiarity with unified communications technologies is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, required for effective remote collaboration.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CVOICE, CompTIA Network+) are advantageous.
