About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement and Purchasing Specialist to join their supply chain team in Zapopan, Jalisco . This role is critical for managing the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services necessary for our client's operations. You will be responsible for identifying potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality goods at competitive prices. The adecuado candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a keen understanding of procurement best practices, and excellent negotiation abilities. Key Responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Manage ongoing supplier relationships, ensuring performance meets expectations.
- Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, finance) to understand their procurement needs.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and manage inventory levels for key materials.




- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ethical sourcing practices.
- Resolve any issues related to purchase orders, deliveries, or supplier performance.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities, spending, and supplier performance.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing.
- Proven experience in supplier negotiation and contract management.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of the local market in Zapopan, Jalisco is an advantage.
