About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding financial services company, is seeking an experienced Gerente de Compras de TI to lead all technology-related procurement activities. This is a fully remote, strategic position responsible for sourcing hardware, software, cloud services, and IT consulting engagements. The adecuado candidate will possess a strong understanding of the IT landscape, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven ability to manage complex technology contracts. This role is critical in ensuring the company has access to cutting-edge technology solutions at competitive prices, supporting business growth and digital transformation initiatives. We are looking for a forward-thinking leader who can drive value and innovation in IT procurement from a remote environment. The objective is to secure optimal technology solutions that align with the company's strategic goals and budget, ensuring reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the IT procurement strategy, including sourcing hardware, software, cloud solutions, and IT services.
- Lead negotiations for complex technology contracts, software licenses, and service agreements.
- Manage relationships with key IT vendors, ensuring performance and adherence to SLAs.
- Collaborate closely with IT leadership and other departments to understand technology needs and requirements.
- Drive cost optimization and value creation within IT spend.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.




- Monitor IT market trends, new technologies, and vendor landscape.
- Manage the IT procurement budget and provide regular reporting on spend and savings.
- Oversee the procurement process from requisition to implementation and ongoing vendor management.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT procurement, technology sourcing, or vendor management.
- Proven track record of negotiating and managing complex IT contracts (e.g., SaaS, PaaS, hardware, enterprise software).
- Strong understanding of current IT trends, technologies, and the vendor ecosystem.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing abilities.
- Experience working in a fully remote capacity is essential.
- Familiarity with IT procurement best practices and methodologies.
