About the Role

Our client, a key player in the hidrocarburos sector, is seeking a skilled Field Production and Operations Engineer to join their team in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca . This role is vital for overseeing and optimizing daily production activities at oil and gas field sites. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations, maintaining equipment, adhering to safety and environmental standards, and managing field personnel. Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage daily oil and gas production operations at field sites.
- Monitor well performance, production rates, and equipment status.
- Implement and optimize artificial lift systems (e.g., pumps, gas lift).
- Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Troubleshoot operational problems and implement effective solutions.
- Coordinate maintenance activities for production equipment and facilities.
- Manage field personnel, providing guidance and technical support.
- Analyze production data and prepare regular performance reports.
- Oversee inventory and logistics for field operations.




- Participate in field development planning and optimization projects.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil and gas production operations, with significant field experience.
- Proven experience with artificial lift systems and production optimization techniques.
- Strong understanding of wellsite operations, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Knowledge of production data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote field environment.
- Familiarity with relevant HSE regulations in the hidrocarburos industry.
- Must be willing to work onsite in the Oaxaca City, Oaxaca area and surrounding field locations.
