About the Role

Our client, a charming boutique hotel in the heart of Cuernavaca, Morelos , is seeking an engaging and service-oriented Gerente de Recepción . This role is critical in setting the tone for guest experiences, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient service at all times. Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage daily operations of the hotel's front desk.
- Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and efficient check-in/check-out process.
- Train, schedule, and manage front desk staff.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
- Maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Manage room inventory and reservations.
- Oversee telephone and email communications.
- Implement and maintain hotel policies and procedures.
- Assist with billing and accounting tasks as needed.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements





- Minimum of 3 years of experience in front desk operations or hotel reception, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Experience in the boutique hotel sector is highly preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in hotel reservation systems (PMS).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of local attractions and services in Cuernavaca .
- High school diploma required; further education in hospitality is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish; basic English proficiency is beneficial.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
