About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems and methodologies.
- Analyze and report on manufacturing costs, including direct materials, labor, and overhead.
- Calculate and analyze variances between standard and actual costs.
- Manage inventory valuation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic cost forecasts.




- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements in manufacturing operations.
- Support product costing and pricing strategies with accurate data.
- Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to understand cost drivers.
- Prepare regular cost reports for management review.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all cost accounting data.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, standard costing, and activity-based costing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with inventory management and control.
- Residency in or proximity to Ciudad Juárez is preferred.
