About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned professional to serve as Jefe de Compras de Bienes Raíces y Servicios Generales , leading procurement efforts for these critical indirect categories. This hybrid role, based in San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí , requires a strategic thinker with expertise in sourcing facilities management, property services, construction, and other general operational needs. You will be responsible for developing robust procurement strategies, managing complex contracts, and fostering strong relationships with key vendors to ensure optimal value and service delivery. The adecuado candidate possesses excellent negotiation skills and a comprehensive understanding of the real estate and general services markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for real estate and general services categories.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including needs assessment, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Oversee contracts for facility management, maintenance, security, office supplies, utilities, and other general operational services.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, financial, and ethical standards.
- Lead complex negotiations with service providers and real estate vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular business reviews.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and company policies.
- Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Facilities, Legal, Operations)

- Manage budget for real estate and general services procurement.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on indirect categories, particularly real estate and general services.
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation within these specific categories.
- Strong understanding of the real estate market, facilities management, and various service contracts.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities.
- Knowledge of real estate law and lease agreements is a plus.
- Experience managing multi-site operations procurement is advantageous.
