About the Role

Our client is searching for a highly motivated and experienced Jefe de Alimentos y Bebidas to lead their renowned restaurant and bar operations in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas . This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of culinary excellence and guest satisfaction that our client is known for. The adecuado candidate will possess a sophisticated palate, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of cost control and inventory management. Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and banqueting services. Develop and implement innovative menus and beverage programs, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. Manage inventory, procurement, and control of food and beverage costs. Train, supervise, and motivate culinary and service staff to ensure exceptional guest experiences. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote F&B; offerings. Manage budgets for food and beverage departments, striving for profitability. Conduct regular quality checks on food and beverage presentation and service. Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues related to dining experiences.



Collaborate with the executive chef and other department heads to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or similar role, preferably in hotels or upscale restaurants.
- Proven ability to manage multiple F&B; outlets simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of culinary trends, wines, and spirits.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience in cost control, inventory management, and budget forecasting.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in F&B; management software.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas.
