About the Role

Our client, a prestigious luxury hotel in Querétaro City, Querétaro, MX , is seeking an experienced and dynamic Gerente de Operaciones de Alimentos y Bebidas (F&B;). This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's diverse food and beverage outlets, including fine dining restaurants, bars, banqueting, and room service. The adecuado candidate will possess a strong background in luxury hospitality management, exceptional leadership abilities, and a strategic approach to driving revenue, controlling costs, and ensuring unparalleled guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include developing culinary and beverage strategies, managing departmental budgets, leading and developing a large F&B; team, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and maintaining the hotel's reputation for excellence. This is a significant opportunity to lead F&B; operations at a top-tier property in the heart of Querétaro.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all food and beverage operations across multiple outlets, ensuring seamless service and profitability.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the F&B; offerings and guest experience.
- Manage departmental budgets, including P&L; responsibility, revenue generation, and cost control (labor, food, beverage).
- Lead, recruit, train, and develop a high-performing F&B; team, fostering a culture of service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and licensing regulations.
- Collaborate with culinary teams to develop innovative menus and beverage programs.




- Manage relationships with F&B; suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and competitive pricing.
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for F&B; outlets.
- Monitor industry trends and implement best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve escalated issues to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage management, preferably within luxury hotels or resorts.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple F&B; outlets and large teams.
- Strong financial acumen, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, P&L; management, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of culinary trends, beverage programs, and service standards.
- Experience with hotel operations systems (PMS, POS).
- A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is required.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage complex operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Querétaro City, Querétaro, MX , with potential for hybrid work.
