Position Summary
The Material Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of incoming materials used in both SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and FATP (Final Assembly, Test & Pack) manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure accurate material traceability throughout SMT and FATP manufacturing processes.
Verify incoming materials against engineering specifications, quality standards, and production requirements.
Conduct supplier audits, performance evaluations, and drive corrective actions to improve supplier quality.
Monitor and improve the quality of electronic components, plastic parts, metal parts, and packaging materials.
Support material qualification, component validation, and risk assessment activities for new products and suppliers.
Develop and maintain material quality standards, inspection criteria, and incoming quality procedures.
Lead investigations of material nonconformities, implement corrective actions, and manage supplier claims related to quality issues.

Experiencia y requisitos
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related technical disciplines.
Experience




Minimum of 5 years of experience inMaterial Quality Engineering,Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE), orIncoming Quality Control (IQC)within the electronics manufacturing industry.
Proven experience inspecting and qualifying:
Electronic components (PCBA-related components)
Plastic molded parts
Metal and structural parts
Packaging materials
Experience supporting SMT and/or FATP manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies, including: 8D, 5 Why Analysis, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans, CAPA.
Experience with supplier quality management, audits, and corrective action processes.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Soft Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work directly with suppliers and effectively drive corrective actions to closure.
Strong project management, organization, and follow-up skills.
Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.

Language Requirements
FluentEnglish proficiency (reading, writing, listening, and speaking).
