The position of Applications Engineer is appointed by and reports directly to the Engineering Manager.
This position, working with Zone Managers / Sales supervisors, is responsible for the successful development and growth of the market according to the corporate strategy.
This position will act as lead person in the applications function.
In that capacity, this position will conduct testing of core products, develop process, documentation of testing and follow-up of testing opportunities.Essential FunctionsA.
Develop and promote a corporate Strategy to pursue application market and monitor the implementation of the results through the regionsB.
Transfer the Marketing Strategy for the regionC.
Work closely with the Sales Manager / Sales Supervisors by assisting with:Establishing PrioritiesDefining ObjectivesMeasuring resultsProviding monthly reports detailing recent results and upcoming opportunitiesD.
Report to management and achieve results by:Recognizing and assessing Market trendsIdentify potential target accountsSuggest Standard product additionsParticipate in Workshops and meetings as requiredCooperate with Specials department when requiredOther ResponsibilitiesA.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Engineering ManagerB.
Prepare reports and presentations regarding the progress of projects.C.
