In this role, you will analyze competitive products, benchmark automotive components, manage Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, and perform deep quantitative and technical evaluations to drive product optimizations.ResponsibilitiesBenchmarking AnalysisPerform technical competitor benchmarking on vehicle systems, with a strong focus on propulsion and transmission components.BOM ManagementAnalyze, structure, and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for benchmarking projects and technical teardowns.Data & Financial ModelingUtilize advanced Excel formulas and data analysis techniques to compile benchmarking data, perform cost comparisons, and track engineering metrics.Engineering EvaluationAssess mechanical and industrial designs to identify optimization opportunities and efficiency gains.Cross-Functional CollaborationCoordinate with engineering, product planning,



and control teams to deliver benchmark reports and technical recommendations.QualificationsEducation : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.Experience: Minimum 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.Advanced EnglishRequired SkillsData SkillsProficiency with advanced Excel formulas (e.G., INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, nested logic, data pivot tables) and data visualization tools.Technical KnowledgeUnderstanding of vehicle assembly, automotive teardowns, and BOM structure management.Preferred SkillsDomain ExperienceHands-on engineering experience in propulsion systems and transmissions.BenchmarkingPrior background in automotive competitor benchmarking, vehicle teardown analysis, or product reverse engineering.Manufacturing KnowledgeFamiliarity with automotive manufacturing processes and plant-level operational considerations.
