About The OpportunityAt MezTal, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join the accounting team of one of our U.S.-based clients in the Senior Living industry.The adecuado candidate will have strong experience managing the full accounts payable cycle, excellent English communication skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.This position requires someone who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate financial records, and collaborate effectively with U.S.-based teams.Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco, MexicoWork Arrangement: HybridEmployment Type: Full-TimeKey ResponsibilitiesManage the full accounts payable cycle, from invoice receipt and verification through payment processing and reconciliationReview, code, and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper approvals, and compliance with internal proceduresPerform two-way and three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation, when applicablePrepare and process vendor payments, ensuring timely and accurate transactionsReconcile vendor statements and accounts payable balances, identifying and resolving discrepanciesMonitor outstanding invoices, payment deadlines, and AP aging reportsMaintain accurate vendor records and support vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balancesAssist with month-end closing activities, including AP reconciliations, accruals, and supporting documentationCollaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with established proceduresCommunicate regularly with U.S.-based stakeholders and internal teams to resolve payment issues and improve processesIdentify opportunities to improve AP workflows, accuracy, and efficiencyRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)Previous experience managing the full accounts payable cycle (required)Strong understanding of accounting principles,
