Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage security infrastructure and solutions across the organization.
- Develop and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
- Oversee the implementation and management of security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection).
- Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior security staff.




- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security is integrated into all systems and processes.
- Manage security awareness training programs for employees.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and standards.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in information security engineering or a similar role.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST), and best practices.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions for networks, systems, and applications.
- Expertise with security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, EDR, and IAM solutions.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are strongly preferred.
