About the Role
Our client, a cutting-edge technology company focused on educational solutions, is seeking a talented Software Developer to create innovative digital products for young children. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing engaging and interactive educational software, applications, and games that cater to the learning needs of preschoolers and early elementary students. The adecuado candidate has a strong background in software development, experience with game development or educational technology, and a passion for creating impactful learning experiences for children. You will collaborate with a team of designers, educators, and product managers to bring creative ideas to life. Key Responsibilities
Design, code, test, and maintain interactive educational software and applications. Develop engaging and age-appropriate educational games and learning modules. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and child-friendly interfaces. Work closely with educational consultants and content creators to ensure pedagogical effectiveness. Optimize software performance for various devices and platforms. Implement features that promote learning, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.



Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in educational software development. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience. Proven experience in developing applications for mobile (i OS/Android) or web platforms. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java Script, Python, C#, or similar. Experience with game development engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) is a strong asset. Familiarity with educational technology principles and child development stages. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote team environment. Portfolio showcasing relevant projects is highly desirable. Fluency in Spanish is required.
