About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct instruction tailored to students' specific learning objectives and needs.
- Create a positive, safe, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Assess students' progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with parents, guardians, and school support staff.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and appropriate strategies.
- Integrate assistive technology and specialized resources into instruction.




- Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with special education practices.
- Advocate for the needs of students with special educational requirements.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification/license with a specialization in Special Education in Mexico.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching students with special educational needs.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing IEPs.
- Strong knowledge of various disabilities and effective instructional strategies for diverse learners.
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with families and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to student success.
- Proficiency in Spanish is required.
- Must be able to work on-site in Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes .
