About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Voice over IP (Vo IP) Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage their voice communication systems in Querétaro City, Querétaro, MX. This role requires a deep understanding of Vo IP technologies, protocols (SIP, H.323), and network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, quality, and security of voice services for our organization. The adecuado candidate possesses strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to optimize voice network performance. This fully remote position allows you to contribute your expertise from anywhere, supporting the critical voice infrastructure needs of the company.
Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain Vo IP infrastructure, including IP PBX, gateways, and session border controllers (SBCs).
Configure and manage Vo IP endpoints and related hardware.
Monitor Vo IP network performance and quality of service (Qo S).
Troubleshoot and resolve voice communication issues, ensuring minimal disruption.
Implement and manage call routing, voicemail, and unified communications features.
Ensure the security of Vo IP systems against unauthorized access and threats.
Collaborate with network and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Vo IP with other systems.
Develop and maintain documentation for Vo IP network configurations and procedures.
Stay updated on the latest Vo IP technologies and industry best practices.




Conduct regular system audits and capacity planning for voice services. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Vo IP engineering and network administration.
In-depth knowledge of Vo IP protocols: SIP, H.323, RTP, RTCP.
Experience with major Vo IP platforms (e.g., Cisco Call Manager, Asterisk, Avaya).
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, Qo S, and network security principles.
Experience with Session Border Controllers (SBCs) is highly desirable.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to voice quality.
Proficiency in scripting for automation (e.g., Python) is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote environment.
