About the Role

Our client, a highly respected pediatric therapy center in Zapopan, Jalisco , is looking for a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join their dedicated team. This role focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in children from infancy through adolescence. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with other therapists and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and family goals. Provide direct therapy services to children with a range of communication challenges. Educate and train parents and caregivers on strategies to support their child's communication development at home. Collaborate with other professionals, including pediatricians, educators, and occupational therapists. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress reports and treatment notes.



Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology through continuing education. Adapt therapy techniques to meet the specific needs of each child. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the center's overall program development.

Requirements

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field. Valid professional license or certification to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Mexico. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience working with pediatric populations. Expertise in diagnosing and treating various pediatric speech and language disorders. Strong understanding of child development and pediatric anatomy/physiology relevant to communication and swallowing. Excellent clinical observation, assessment, and treatment planning skills. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Proficiency in Spanish is essential; knowledge of English is a plus. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Must be able to work on-site at our clinic in Zapopan, Jalisco .
