- Process Design and Optimization: Define, implement, and improve operational flow, standard work methods, and tooling across engine assembly lines, ensuring adherence to Takt Time and production cadence (JPH).
- Critical Powertrain Process Control:
- Automated Silicone / Sealant Dispensing (RTV): Parameterize and audit robotic dispensing cells (Nordson / SCA / Fanuc / ABB), maintaining control over path trajectories, bead geometry, and open time.
- Servo Presses: Monitor and calibrate Force vs. Displacement signature curves (Promess, Kistler) for the insertion of bushings, freeze plugs (core plugs), and dowel pins.
- Leak Testing: Validate and fine-tune pressure-decay or helium leak test stations across lubrication, coolant, and fuel circuits.
- Ergonomics and Standardized Work: Design safe workstations utilizing zero-gravity manipulators and ergonomic tooling in compliance with corporate safety standards (FAS 08). Develop and maintain Operator Instruction Sheets (OIS / JES / SOS).
- Defect Prevention and APQP: Lead and update station PFMEAs, designing mechanical and electronic error-proneing systems (Poka-Yoke)
