Mission We are looking for an experienced CAD Lead to coordinate and deliver mechanical design activities for electric vehicle battery pack applications. The candidate will support the development of battery pack concepts, mechanical packaging studies and CAD deliverables during the RFQ phase, with potential involvement in full product development.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead CAD design activities for high-voltage battery pack components and assemblies.
• Develop and review 3D models of battery enclosures, structural parts and mounting systems.
• Coordinate battery module packaging and mechanical integration.
• Integrate cooling plates, cooling pipes, HV connectors and electrical components into CAD assemblies.
• Perform packaging, clearance and interference analysis.
• Manage CAD design standards, assembly structures and technical documentation.
• Coordinate CAD designers and ensure deliverable quality.
• Support tolerance analysis, GD&T; and manufacturing feasibility reviews.
• Manage design changes and PLM data.
• Prepare preliminary CAD concepts and technical documentation for RFQ submissions. Required Technical Skills




• Advanced proficiency in CATIA V5/V6, 3DEXPERIENCE or Siemens NX.
• Experience designing automotive battery packs or comparable complex automotive assemblies.
• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical packaging.
• Understanding of battery cooling system integration.
• Knowledge of sheet metal, aluminum castings, extrusions and mechanical joining technologies.
• Experience with GD&T; and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Familiarity with automotive PLM systems and engineering change management.
• Understanding of design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA). Experience
• 6+ years in automotive CAD design.
• 2+ years in technical leadership or CAD coordination.
• Direct experience in EV battery packs, enclosures or high-voltage component packaging strongly preferred.
• OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience. Critical Selection Criteria Must demonstrate vigente battery pack CAD design experience and the ability to explain mechanical packaging, cooling integration and structural design decisions.
