The Production Manager plans, Organizes, Directs and Controls all the production activities to assure that the production of goods and/or services meet volume, quality and cost requirements within the established timeframe in an efficient manner. Manages directly the Sr. supervisors, supervisors and indirectly (Dotted line) all function related to the Business Unit.
Monitor competences for his/her team and develops its autonomy (training plan building, follow-up & training actions implementation).
Ensure working standards are respected on its Business Unit during the operations (safety, work instructions, quality, and respect of the product). Conduct annual appraisals, salary review, career interviews, succession planning & give feedback. Ensure a positive social climate on his/herBusiness Unit
Be accountable for SQCDP performance and profitability (gross margin) of his/her APU, in terms of targets achievement, and improvement.
Assign & check corrective actions on recurring problems with Business Unitand Plant support departments.
Escalate at Site level the issues that can't be solved at Business Unitlevel. Lead daily Business UnitWar room (SQCDP).
Lead workstation ergonomics risk analysis and elimination.
Lead & review action plans to improve SQCDP performance (vigente and targets).
Be responsible for Customer Line Return analysis and solving for products from his/her APU in front of customers.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.

Bilingual 90% English - Spanish.
MS Office (Word, Excel).
Desired Six Sigma Green Belt certified and exposure to Operative systems based on Toyota Production Systems.
Knowledge of MRP/ERP system.
Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials,



production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
