About the Role
Our client, a respected player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Ingeniero de Calidad (Sistemas de Manufactura) to join their team in Morelia, Michoacán . This pivotal role involves ensuring that all manufacturing processes and products meet stringent quality standards. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems, conducting audits, and driving corrective actions to prevent defects. This position offers the opportunity to significantly contribute to the company's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. You will work collaboratively with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to uphold the highest levels of quality and consistency in all operations within the Morelia, Michoacán facility.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).

Conduct regular internal audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with standards (e.g., ISO 9001).

Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement root cause analysis for quality issues.

Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address non-conformities.

Collaborate with the production team to ensure product quality is maintained throughout the manufacturing process.

Prepare quality reports and present findings to management.

Oversee incoming material inspections and finished product testing.

Participate in supplier quality assessments and audits.

Train relevant personnel on quality standards, procedures, and tools.





Stay updated on relevant quality regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical) or a related technical field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.

Experience with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.

Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment.

Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Ability to work independently and remotely, as well as collaborate effectively with on-site teams.

Familiarity with the manufacturing industry in Morelia, Michoacán is a plus.
