Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst (Cash Application)
Location: Miguel Hidalgo, CDMX

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, (hybrid role)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst (Cash Application) to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accurate application of customer payments, account reconciliations, and resolution of discrepancies while maintaining the integrity of Accounts Receivable records.

Key Responsibilities

Apply customer payments accurately and timely within the ERP system.

Analyze deposits and ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions.

Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

Research and resolve payment-related issues, unapplied cash, and account variances.

Review and validate payment documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Support account cleanup initiatives and maintain the integrity of AR balances.

Identify root causes of issues and recommend process improvements.

Partner with internal stakeholders to communicate findings and provide solutions.

Participate in meetings and explain accounting impacts, reconciliation results, and open issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required).

Advanced English proficiency.

Strong experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in Cash Application activities.

Solid accounting knowledge and understanding of financial transactions.





Experience performing reconciliations and account analysis.

Advanced Excel skills.

Experience working with an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, JDE, Dynamics, or similar).

Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, ability to identify root causes and drive resolution, proactive mindset with a high level of ownership, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to explain financial information to different audiences, resilience and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
