About the Role
Our client, a prominent player in the Bienes de Consumo Masivo (FMCG) sector, is seeking a highly accomplished and results-driven Commercial Director to oversee operations in Chihuahua, Chihuahua . This executive position is critical for shaping and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and expanding market penetration across key retail channels. The adecuado candidate will possess a deep understanding of the FMCG market in Mexico, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a proven history of exceeding sales targets. This role demands strategic vision, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to foster robust relationships with major retail partners. You will be instrumental in leading a high-performing sales team and ensuring the successful execution of commercial plans.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies to achieve aggressive sales targets and market share growth in the Chihuahua region.

Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, setting clear objectives and performance standards.

Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and strategic partnerships with key accounts and retail chains.

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.

Oversee the development and execution of promotional programs and trade marketing initiatives to maximize product visibility and sales performance.

Manage the commercial budget, ensuring profitability and efficient resource allocation.

Collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure seamless product availability and customer satisfaction.

Negotiate contracts and terms with major retailers,



ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

Prepare and present regular sales performance reports and forecasts to senior management.

Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

MBA is highly desirable.

A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales and commercial management, preferably within the FMCG industry.

Demonstrated success in driving significant revenue growth and managing large retail accounts.

Proven experience in leading and developing sales teams.

Strong understanding of the retail landscape and distribution channels in Mexico, specifically in the Northern region.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.

Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region and potentially internationally.

Must be based in or willing to relocate to Chihuahua, Chihuahua .
