About the Role
Our client seeks a seasoned and visionary Large-Scale Construction Project Manager to spearhead significant renewable energy projects in Tijuana, Baja California . This role requires a leader with expertise in managing complex, multi-million dollar projects from conceptualization through to operational handover. The successful candidate will be responsible for all facets of project delivery, including strategic planning, budget control, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. We are looking for an individual passionate about sustainable development and capable of driving innovation in the construction of renewable energy infrastructure. This is a high-impact position within a leading company in the green energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and closing of large-scale renewable energy construction projects.

Develop and manage comprehensive project budgets, forecasts, and financial controls.

Oversee the selection and management of contractors, suppliers, and consultants.

Ensure all projects comply with environmental regulations, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

Implement robust risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks.

Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, clients, and regulatory bodies.





Drive project milestones, ensuring timely completion and successful project handover.

Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement on all project sites.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) or a related discipline.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years focused on large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects.

Demonstrated experience in managing budgets exceeding $50 million USD.

Expert knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP certification preferred).

Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies (solar, wind) and construction processes.

Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Experience working in Tijuana, Baja California or similar cross-border environments is advantageous.

Fluent in English and Spanish is required.
