Key Responsibilities

Manage and prosecute a docket of civil and commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution.

Conduct legal research, analyze complex factual scenarios, and develop comprehensive case strategies.

Draft, file, and argue pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

Represent clients in virtual hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.

Conduct and defend depositions remotely using appropriate technology.

Communicate effectively and proactively with clients,



providing regular updates and strategic advice.

Collaborate with paralegals, support staff, and other attorneys on case strategy and execution.

Ensure compliance with all procedural rules and ethical obligations in all jurisdictions.

Identify and assess legal risks and opportunities for clients, providing practical solutions.

Stay abreast of relevant legal developments and case law impacting litigation practice.

Utilize and manage electronic case management systems and litigation support software.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.

Admission to the bar and in good standing in Mexico.

A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in civil and commercial litigation.

Demonstrated success in handling all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.

Proficiency in legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and electronic discovery tools.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking abilities.

Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.

Excellent interpersonal skills and client management capabilities.

Familiarity with virtual court procedures and remote advocacy techniques.

High level of organization and attention to detail.
