About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Ingeniero de Seguridad de TI (Endpoint Security) to bolster their defense against modern cyber threats. This role is crucial for managing, deploying, and optimizing endpoint security solutions to protect workstations, servers, and mobile devices across the organization. The idóneo candidate will have hands‑on experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools, antivirus solutions, and patch management systems. This is a fully remote position, providing flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere. We are looking for a proactive and technically adept professional committed to safeguarding the organization's endpoints and ensuring a robust security posture.

Key Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and manage endpoint security solutions (EDR, antivirus, DLP). Monitor endpoint security alerts and respond to security incidents. Analyze endpoint threats and develop effective mitigation strategies. Develop and maintain security policies for endpoint devices. Manage and automate patch deployment and vulnerability remediation on endpoints. Conduct regular security assessments of endpoint configurations. Collaborate with IT support teams to ensure proper endpoint security implementation. Stay updated on the latest endpoint security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies. Create reports on endpoint security status and incident trends. Provide technical guidance and support for endpoint security-related issues.

Requirements




Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on endpoint security. Proven experience with leading EDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint). Strong understanding of operating system security (Windows, macOS, Linux). Experience with patch management tools and vulnerability scanning. Knowledge of network security concepts relevant to endpoint protection. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and documentation skills. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or vendor-specific endpoint security certifications are desirable. Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote environment.
