About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Farmacéutico Jefe to lead their community pharmacy operations and spearhead inventory management initiatives. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage operations from anywhere in Mexico. The role requires strategic oversight of pharmacy workflow, ensuring efficient prescription dispensing, and optimizing inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize profitability. You will be responsible for implementing best practices in inventory control, supplier relations, and staff supervision, all performed remotely. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of daily community pharmacy operations remotely.
Develop and implement robust inventory management strategies, including demand forecasting, stock control, and ordering processes.
Negotiate with pharmaceutical suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
Manage and monitor stock levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
Implement strategies to reduce inventory holding costs and minimize product expiry.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical storage and distribution.
Lead and mentor the pharmacy staff, providing guidance and support for remote supervision.
Utilize pharmacy management software and inventory control systems effectively.




Analyze sales data and inventory performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Contribute to the development of pharmacy policies and procedures.
Requirements Licenciatura en Farmacia (or equivalent) from an accredited university.
Valid professional license (Cédula Competente) and COFEPRIS registration.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in community pharmacy, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Demonstrated expertise in pharmaceutical inventory management, supply chain, and procurement.
Proven ability to manage and lead a team remotely.
Strong analytical skills and experience with inventory management software.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems and virtual collaboration tools.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of independent decision-making.
