About the Role
Our client, a leading exporter of high-quality agro-industrial products, is seeking an experienced and globally-minded Ejecutivo Comercial de Exportación to join their team in Mexicali, Baja California . This role is crucial for developing and expanding international markets for our client's diverse range of products. The adecuado candidate will possess a strong understanding of international trade, logistics, and foreign market dynamics, combined with excellent sales and negotiation skills. You will be responsible for identifying new export opportunities, building relationships with international buyers, managing export documentation and compliance, and ensuring the timely delivery of products worldwide. This position demands a proactive approach, cultural adaptability, and a passion for promoting Mexican agricultural products on a global scale. The role is based in Mexicali , a strategic location for international trade.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new export markets and business opportunities for agro-industrial products.

Build and maintain strong relationships with international buyers, distributors, and agents.

Develop and execute export sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.

Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment conditions with international clients.

Manage the entire export process, including logistics, shipping, customs documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Stay informed about international trade regulations, tariffs, and market trends in key export destinations.

Collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.

Prepare export sales forecasts, reports,



and market analyses.

Represent the company at international trade fairs and industry events.

Ensure all export activities comply with national and international laws and company policies.

Requirements

Proven experience in export sales, international trade, or business development, preferably within the agro-industrial or food sectors.

Demonstrated success in developing and managing international client relationships.

Strong understanding of international logistics, Incoterms, and export/import regulations.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross-cultural relationship-building skills.

Ability to analyze foreign market trends and identify new opportunities.

Proficiency in using CRM software and export management tools.

Bachelor's degree in International Business, Marketing, Agribusiness, or a related field.

Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Reside in or be willing to relocate to Mexicali, Baja California .

Fluency in Spanish and English is essential; knowledge of other languages is a strong asset.
