Key Responsibilities Perform structural analysis and design for various bridge types, including highway, pedestrian, and railway bridges.
Develop detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications for bridge structures.
Utilize advanced finite element analysis (FEA) software for modeling and simulation.
Conduct bridge condition assessments, load rating, and rehabilitation studies.




Collaborate with geotechnical engineers to ensure proper foundation design for bridge structures.
Review shop drawings and construction submittals to ensure compliance with design intent.
Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams during the erection phase.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in bridge engineering, materials, and construction techniques.
Ensure all designs meet relevant codes, standards (e.g., AASHTO, local Mexican standards), and project requirements.
Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Participate in design review meetings and quality assurance processes.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of engineering best practices.
Requirements Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Bridge Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in bridge design and analysis.
Proven expertise in structural design software (e.g., SAP2000, MIDAS Civil, CSiBridge, ETABS).
In-depth knowledge of bridge behavior, load transfer mechanisms, and seismic design principles.
Familiarity with Mexican bridge design codes (e.g., SCT standards) and international codes.
Experience with bridge inspection, assessment, and rehabilitation projects.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong report writing and presentation abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment and collaborate remotely.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent is a plus.
