About the Role Our client, a leading healthcare institution, is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Director de Farmacia y Servicios Farmacéuticos for their flagship facility in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico . This executive-level position holds ultimate responsibility for the strategic planning, operational management, and financial oversight of all pharmacy services. The Director will lead a diverse team of pharmacists, technicians, and support staff, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and cost-efficient pharmaceutical care. This role requires strong leadership, clinical acumen, and a deep understanding of healthcare administration and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans for the pharmacy department aligned with organizational goals.
Oversee daily operations, including medication procurement, storage, dispensing, and distribution.
Manage the pharmacy budget, including resource allocation, cost control, and revenue generation.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing pharmacy team.
Establish and maintain quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to optimize medication therapy management.
Evaluate and implement new technologies and services to enhance pharmacy practice.




Manage relationships with pharmaceutical vendors and external partners.
Serve as the primary subject matter expert on pharmaceutical matters for the organization.
Requirements Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or a Master's degree in a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in pharmacy management, with at least 3 years in a director-level role.
Valid professional license (Cédula Profesional) in the State of Mexico.
Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Expert knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission), and best practices in pharmacy operations.
Demonstrated success in leading change and managing complex projects.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and pharmacy automation.
Residency or willingness to relocate to Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico or surrounding areas.
