About the Role
Our client, a dynamic non-profit organization with a nationwide reach, is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Coordinador de Desarrollo Comunitario y Voluntariado to manage and expand their volunteer programs and community engagement initiatives. This is a fully remote position, adecuado for a proactive individual passionate about mobilizing community resources and fostering impactful volunteer experiences. The role involves recruiting, training, and managing volunteers, as well as developing and executing strategies to strengthen community ties and support the organization's mission. The successful candidate will leverage virtual tools to connect with volunteers, community partners, and stakeholders across the country, fostering a strong sense of belonging and shared purpose from a distance. We are looking for someone who can build vibrant volunteer networks and drive community impact from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies for recruiting, onboarding, and retaining volunteers nationwide.

Design and deliver engaging virtual training programs for volunteers.

Manage volunteer databases and track volunteer hours, contributions, and impact.

Coordinate and support remote volunteer projects and community outreach activities.

Foster strong relationships with volunteers, providing ongoing support and recognition.

Collaborate with program staff to identify volunteer needs and match volunteers to appropriate roles.

Develop communication materials (newsletters, social media content) to engage volunteers and promote community involvement.

Organize virtual community events and engagement activities.





Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of volunteer programs and community engagement strategies.

Stay informed about best practices in volunteer management and community development.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Community Development, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in volunteer management, community organizing, or program coordination, preferably in a remote setting.

Demonstrated success in recruiting, training, and managing volunteers.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, adapted for virtual environments.

Proficiency with volunteer management software, CRM systems, and online collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Trello).

Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Creative and strategic thinking for developing innovative community engagement initiatives.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain motivation in a remote setting.

Passion for community service and social impact.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
