About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and results-oriented Gerente de Desarrollo de Programas de Impacto Social to lead initiatives from conception through execution in the vibrant region of Cancún, Quintana Roo . This leadership role is critical for identifying unmet social needs and designing scalable programs that create lasting positive change. The adecuado candidate will have a strong background in social entrepreneurship, program design, and stakeholder engagement, with a passion for sustainable development. You will be responsible for securing funding, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring the effective delivery of programs that enhance community well-being. Key Responsibilities

Identify social needs and opportunities for program development in collaboration with community leaders and stakeholders.

Design comprehensive program strategies, including goals, objectives, activities, and evaluation metrics.

Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and efficient resource allocation.

Lead fundraising efforts, including proposal writing and donor relations, to secure necessary funding.

Build and nurture strategic partnerships with local government, NGOs, and private sector entities.

Oversee program implementation, monitoring progress, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program impact.

Manage and mentor a team of program officers and coordinators.

Represent the organization at conferences,



meetings, and public events to promote its mission and programs.

Stay abreast of trends and best practices in social impact and sustainable development.

Requirements

Master's degree in Public Policy, International Development, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in program development and management, with a focus on social impact initiatives.

Demonstrated success in fundraising and securing grants from diverse sources.

Strong understanding of social and environmental issues relevant to developing regions, particularly in areas like tourism and conservation.

Proven ability to build and manage strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and organizational skills.

Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.

Experience with remote team management and virtual collaboration tools.

Willingness to travel as needed, though the role is primarily remote.
