About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Civil Project Engineer to join their dynamic team in Monterrey, Reciente León . This is a critical role responsible for overseeing complex construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management best practices. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise all phases of construction projects, including planning, design, procurement, execution, and closeout.

Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these metrics.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project objectives are met.

Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and design specifications.

Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues proactively and effectively.

Prepare comprehensive project reports, including progress updates, financial summaries, and risk assessments.





Ensure adherence to all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards on construction sites.

Lead and mentor junior engineering staff, fostering their professional development.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

A Master's degree is a plus.

Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering project management, with a strong focus on infrastructure projects.

Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.

In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant regulations.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).

Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical specifications.

Experience working in the Monterrey, Nuevo León area is highly preferred.

Valid professional engineering license (e.g., PE) is an advantage.
