Hiring: Infrastructure Architect – Hybrid Infrastructure & Red Hat OpenShift Required English Proficiency: Advanced Professional English (B2 level or higher) Location: 100% Remote (Mexico) Specialization: Enterprise Infrastructure | Red Hat OpenShift | Windows Server | Networking & Security | Disaster Recovery About the Role We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect specializing in Hybrid Infrastructure and Red Hat OpenShift to design, implement, optimize, and secure enterprise IT environments across physical, virtualized, and containerized platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise infrastructure architecture, container orchestration, Windows Server, middleware technologies, networking, security, and business continuity. This role involves bridging traditional enterprise systems with modern cloud-native platforms while ensuring high availability, scalability, performance, and operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters across hybrid infrastructure environments.
Architect persistent storage solutions and implement OpenShift Virtualization.
Establish architecture standards, governance practices, and operational best practices for enterprise container platforms.
2. Infrastructure Design & Capacity Planning Perform infrastructure sizing and capacity planning for CPU cores, memory, storage, and IOPS.
Analyze application performance metrics to determine infrastructure requirements and optimize resource utilization.
Ensure infrastructure scalability, reliability, and performance in line with business and application requirements.
3. Operating Systems & Middleware Lead Windows Server upgrade and modernization initiatives,



including migration planning from Windows Server 2022 to 2026.
Manage and maintain enterprise middleware platforms, including IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and IBM HTTP Server (IHS), where applicable.
Ensure compatibility, stability, and performance across legacy and modern application environments.
4. Networking & Security Design and implement network segmentation using VLANs and Demilitarized Zones (DMZs).
Implement and maintain perimeter security controls, firewalls, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
Configure and manage F5 load-balancing solutions, including Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Global Traffic Manager (GTM).
Ensure secure, reliable, and efficient traffic management across enterprise infrastructure.
5. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Design high-availability architectures using clustering, replication, and redundancy mechanisms.
Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) for infrastructure platforms and databases.
Define and validate recovery strategies to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
Required Technical Skills Container Platforms: Advanced hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift or enterprise Kubernetes architecture and administration.
Operating Systems: Strong expertise in Windows Server 2022 and knowledge of Windows Server 2026, along with enterprise virtualization technologies.




Networking & Security: Solid understanding of enterprise networking, VLANs, DMZs, perimeter firewalls, WAF, and F5 LTM/GTM.
Middleware: Experience administering IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and IBM HTTP Server (IHS).
Storage & Data Protection: Experience with SAN/NAS storage, enterprise backup solutions, and data replication technologies.
Infrastructure Architecture: Proven experience in enterprise IT infrastructure design, capacity planning, performance optimization, and high availability.
Preferred Certifications Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (EX280).
Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Automation (EX380).
Advanced certifications in Microsoft Windows Server, F5 technologies, or information security.
Adecuado Candidate Profile 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and enterprise platform architecture.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and architectural design skills.
Ability to work across traditional infrastructure and modern containerized environments.
Strong communication skills and advanced professional English proficiency (B2 level or higher).
Ability to collaborate with application, infrastructure, networking, security, and operations teams.
