About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Especialista en Limpieza de Alimentos y Bebidas to ensure the highest standards of hygiene within their food processing and hospitality operations in Cuernavaca, Morelos . This role is critical for maintaining food safety, preventing contamination, and complying with all relevant health regulations. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of HACCP principles, sanitation protocols specific to the food industry, and the ability to implement and monitor effective cleaning procedures. You will be responsible for overseeing cleaning activities in kitchens, production lines, storage areas, and dining spaces, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for both products and consumers. Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive cleaning and sanitation programs for all food handling and preparation areas.

Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards, including HACCP, GMP, and other relevant regulations.

Supervise cleaning staff, providing training on proper sanitation techniques, chemical usage, and safety procedures.

Conduct regular inspections of kitchens, production facilities, storage areas, and equipment to ensure cleanliness and identify potential hazards.

Manage the inventory and proper use of cleaning chemicals and sanitation supplies.





Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of all food processing equipment, utensils, and surfaces.

Implement pest control measures in coordination with relevant departments.

Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and corrective actions taken.

Respond promptly to any sanitation issues or emergencies that may arise.

Promote a culture of hygiene and safety among all staff involved in food handling.

Requirements

Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in sanitation or cleaning roles within the food and beverage industry (restaurants, hotels, food processing plants).

In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP principles.

Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment used in food service environments.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to train and supervise cleaning personnel.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food safety or sanitation is highly desirable.

Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and work in various kitchen and production environments.

Understanding of basic safety protocols.
