Key Responsibilities Develop and implement regional communication and media relations strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and journalists in the southern region.
Act as a key spokesperson for regional media inquiries.
Create and distribute regional press materials, tailored to local contexts.
Monitor media coverage within the region and report on key developments.
Organize and manage regional press events and media outreach activities.
Collaborate with local stakeholders and internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
Advise regional leadership on communication matters and potential reputational issues.




Requirements Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in media relations and communications, with a focus on regional or local markets.
Demonstrated success in building and managing media relationships within a specific geographic area.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish, with a strong understanding of regional nuances.
Experience in crisis communication and managing sensitive media issues.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects remotely.
Familiarity with the media landscape in southern Mexico, particularly Morelos and surrounding states.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and media monitoring tools.
Must have a reliable home office setup and be available for periodic travel to the Cuernavaca, Morelos area as needed.
