Drayage Transportation Assistant - Needed To Coordinate Every Container Move

As our Drayage Planner, you plan and schedule every container to move between ports, rail ramps, and warehouses. Your day starts with reviewing container availability, last free days, and cutoffs, then building the plan: matching each move with the right carrier, booking terminal and warehouse appointments, and confirming chassis and equipment. You'll work hand in hand with Carrier Sales, Track & Trace, customers, and terminals, adjusting calmly when plans change and documenting every update.

Your planning keeps containers moving and prevents demurrage and per diem charges. You'll need drayage, intermodal, dispatch, or logistics coordination experience, strong organization, clear communication, and comfort with a TMS.

Required Experience

1. Drayage, intermodal, dispatch, or logistics coordination experience preferred
2. Knowledge of port and rail terminal operations (appointments, last free day, per diem)
3. Highly organized and detail-oriented
4. Clear communication with carriers, customers, and terminals
5. TMS experience preferred
6. Spanish preferred
