Mission

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Coordinator to lead and coordinate mechanical engineering activities related to high-voltage battery pack development.

The role involves battery enclosure design, structural integration, thermal management interfaces and coordination of mechanical engineering deliverables during RFQ and development phases.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate mechanical design activities for EV battery packs.
- Support the design of battery enclosures, covers, mounting systems and structural components.
- Manage mechanical integration of battery modules, cooling systems and electrical components.
- Analyze OEM packaging, weight, crash and durability requirements.
- Coordinate CAD engineers, simulation teams and manufacturing specialists.
- Review mechanical design concepts and technical feasibility.
- Support material selection, tolerance analysis and manufacturing feasibility.
- Contribute to RFQ deliverables, technical risk assessments and engineering planning.
- Manage mechanical interfaces and engineering changes.

Required Technical Skills





- Strong understanding of EV battery pack mechanical architecture.
- Experience with aluminum, steel and lightweight structural solutions.
- Knowledge of battery thermal management integration, including liquid cooling systems.
- Experience with mechanical packaging, GD&T; and tolerance analysis.
- Understanding of crashworthiness, vibration, sealing and structural validation.
- Familiarity with CATIA, Siemens NX or equivalent CAD environments.
- Knowledge of automotive APQP, DFMEA and DVP&R; methodologies.

Experience

- 6+ years in automotive mechanical engineering.
- Direct experience with EV battery packs, battery enclosures or related high-voltage systems.
- Previous coordination of multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- OEM or Tier 1 automotive experience.

Critical Selection Criteria

Must demonstrate practical experience in battery pack mechanical design, including packaging, structural interfaces and thermal management integration.
