Snapshot of Your Day
As a Technical Risk Analyst – Reliability Analytics for gas turbine service projects, you’ll contribute to the development and application of digital risk tools and reliability processes. Your day can shift rapidly. One moment, you may be advancing the development of data-driven risk prediction models or testing new predictive features in internal expert systems.
Next, you may be supporting a failure analysis for a unit experiencing unexpected degradation or generating risk insights that inform outage planning and spare-parts decisions across the fleet. You will support digital risk capabilities, technical risk assessments, and fleet reliability modeling, enabling stronger decision-making across Service and New Units.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop, maintain, and improve data and analytics pipelines that support reliability engineering, fleet performance, and technical risk assessments. Apply statistical programming and analytical methods to identify trends, anomalies, degradation patterns, and opportunities to improve data quality and engineering decision-making.
- Acquire, ingest, transform, validate, and analyze engineering and operational data using Python and relevant analytical libraries and visualization technologies.
- Support the development of statistical and predictive models for component reliability, failure risk, degradation, and fleet risk. Translate model outputs, uncertainty, and engineering data into actionable insights for outage planning, maintenance strategies, and spare-parts decisions.
- Support the integration of AI-powered tools, agents, and automation capabilities into internal software solutions and engineering workflows where they provide practical business value. Ensure compliance with data governance, information security, and data quality standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary global teams, including reliability engineers, service engineering teams, and data analytics specialists.
- Stay current with relevant technologies and best practices in data engineering, statistical analysis, and software development.
What You Bring
- Experience with:
- Python and relevant analytical libraries for data processing, statistical analysis, visualization, and workflow automation.
- Building and maintaining data pipelines and data transformation workflows.
- Working with structured and semi-structured datasets.
- Familiarity with:
- Applying statistical and analytical methods to engineering or operational data. Experience with reliability analysis, uncertainty quantification, or predictive analytics is considered an advantage.
- Software development practices, including version control, code reviews, testing, and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation.
- Experience or interest in using AI-powered development tools and integrating AI-assisted capabilities into internal software applications and workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in reliability engineering, asset performance, predictive maintenance, or industrial analytics.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
- Passion for using data to improve engineering decisions and business outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience in the energy sector, manufacturing, or another industrial environment is considered an advantage. About the team: You will join the Integrated Risk Management team (IRM) under Technical Excellence, a multidisciplinary team responsible for enabling Technical Risk Philosophy, guiding product safety evaluations, and providing reliability insights across the fleet.
You will collaborate closely with global engineering teams, digital platform owners, product safety leads, and service operations to deliver high‑impact risk intelligence and support fleet performance.
