We are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Architect with deep expertise in Sales and Distribution (SD) to lead the functional design and delivery of SAP implementation and rollout initiatives. In this role you will own end-to-end Sales Order Processing, shape the master data landscape, and make sure SD, MM and PP work together seamlessly across integrated business scenarios.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership position. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, translate requirements into robust SAP solutions, and build the monitoring and dashboard capabilities that let the team identify and resolve process issues before they affect the business.
Contract type: Contractor.
Work arrangement: Hybrid (one day per week at the office in Torreón, Mexico).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the functional architecture and design of SAP SD solutions across implementation and rollout projects.
- Own end-to-end Sales Order Processing, from order creation through delivery and billing.
- Define and govern master data processes, including Material Master, Customer Master,
pricing and related objects.
- Design and validate cross-module integration scenarios across SAP SD, MM and PP.
- Build process dashboards that support proactive issue identification, monitoring and resolution.
- Work with business users and technical teams to gather requirements, run workshops and translate needs into functional specifications.
- Take ownership of end-to-end delivery, from design and configuration through testing, go-live and post-go-live support.
Mandatory Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in SAP implementation and/or rollout projects.
- Strong experience in end-to-end Sales Order Processing.
- Expertise in master data processes and functionality, including Material Master, Customer Master, and pricing and related objects.
- Functional expertise across SAP SD, MM and PP, with strong knowledge of cross-module integration scenarios.
- Experience creating process dashboards for proactive issue identification, monitoring and resolution.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take ownership of end-to-end delivery.
- Fluent Spanish.
- Intermediate (mid-level) English.
