About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and certified Técnico de Saneamiento Ambiental y Control de Plagas to join their environmental services team in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas . This role is essential for safeguarding public health and environmental integrity by managing pest control operations and ensuring sanitary conditions in various settings, including commercial, residential, and public facilities. The adecuado candidate will have a strong understanding of pest biology, integrated pest management (IPM) strategies, and the safe application of pesticides. This is a crucial role that requires a scientific approach and a commitment to sustainable practices. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, developing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with all local and national environmental and health regulations. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and sanitary issues.
- Develop and implement customized pest management plans using integrated pest management (IPM) techniques.
- Apply pesticides and other treatment methods safely and effectively, adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
- Educate clients on preventive measures to deter pests and maintain sanitary conditions.
- Monitor treatment effectiveness and conduct follow-up inspections as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed, including pest identification, treatment methods, and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety,



and environmental regulations related to pesticide use and pest control.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in pest control and sanitation.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide expert advice on pest and sanitation issues.

Requirements

- Valid certification or license for pest control and pesticide application in Mexico.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pest control and sanitation services.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pest identification, behavior, and control methods.
- Proficiency in integrated pest management (IPM) principles and practices.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and safe handling of chemicals.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively.
- Physical ability to perform inspections in various environments and carry necessary equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in biology, environmental science, or a related field is a plus.
