About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic and organized Coordinador/a de Actividades Extracurriculares para Preescolar to enrich the learning experience of young children in Zapopan, Jalisco . This role focuses on planning, organizing, and overseeing a variety of engaging after-school and weekend activities designed to foster creativity, physical development, and social skills. The adecuado candidate is enthusiastic, possesses strong leadership qualities, and has a genuine passion for working with young children. You will be responsible for developing a diverse program of activities, managing schedules, coordinating instructors, and ensuring a safe and fun environment for all participants. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the holistic development of children outside of the traditional classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a diverse schedule of extracurricular activities for preschool-aged children (e.g., arts and crafts, sports, music, drama, STEM).
- Source and coordinate with qualified instructors and external facilitators for specialized activities.
- Ensure a safe and supervised environment for all children participating in extracurricular programs.
- Manage program logistics, including registration, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding program details, schedules, and their child's participation.
- Oversee the budget for extracurricular activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and gather feedback for continuous improvement.




- Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Organize special events and workshops related to extracurricular offerings.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Recreation Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in planning and coordinating programs for children, preferably in an extracurricular or recreational setting.
- Proven ability to develop engaging and age-appropriate activities for preschoolers.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of child safety regulations and best practices.
- Experience in budget management is a plus.
- Creative, energetic, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively with a team and independently.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
