About the Role

Our client, a well-regarded childcare center in Guadalajara, Jalisco , is seeking a nurturing and responsible Daycare Teacher Assistant . This role is vital in supporting lead teachers in providing a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for young children. The assistant will help with daily routines, educational activities, and ensuring the overall well-being of the children. The adecuado candidate will have a genuine love for working with children, patience, and a willingness to learn and grow within the early childhood education field. Key Responsibilities

- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and nap times.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Support children's personal hygiene needs (e.g., handwashing, diapering if applicable).
- Engage children in learning activities, storytelling, and creative play.
- Provide positive reinforcement and guidance to children.
- Assist with snack and meal preparation and serving.
- Communicate observations about children's behavior and development to lead teachers.
- Help set up and clean up classroom materials and learning centers.




- Follow all center policies and procedures to ensure child safety and well-being.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Some college coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience working with children, such as babysitting, volunteering, or in a daycare setting, is preferred.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine caring attitude towards children.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and supervise active children.
- Knowledge of basic child development principles is beneficial.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work on-site in Guadalajara, Jalisco .
- Willingness to undergo background checks and obtain required certifications (e.g., First Aid).
