About the Role

Our client, a leading MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facility, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join their expanding operations in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico. This crucial role involves performing routine inspections, scheduled maintenance, and necessary repairs on a diverse fleet of commercial aircraft. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and operational safety of aircraft, adhering strictly to manufacturer specifications and aviation regulations. You will work within a highly collaborative environment, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to maintain aircraft in peak condition. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft systems and components.
- Perform aircraft inspections, including pre-flight, transit, and post-flight checks.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues according to technical manuals and procedures.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals.
- Document all maintenance actions accurately and thoroughly in the aircraft logbook and maintenance system.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and FAA/DGAC requirements.
- Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of recurring maintenance issues.




- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Report any defects or malfunctions observed during maintenance operations.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; certification from an accredited aviation technical school is required.
- Possession of a valid Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) license or equivalent certification (e.g., IA).
- Proven experience in heavy maintenance and line maintenance.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, engines, avionics).
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work versátil hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Good communication skills in Spanish.
