Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop highly immersive and interactive virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) experiences.
- Conceptualize and prototype user interfaces and interaction models optimized for VR/AR platforms.
- Create 3D assets, environments, and animations for immersive applications.
- Collaborate with developers to implement and refine interactive functionalities and gameplay mechanics.
- Ensure user comfort and minimize motion sickness through thoughtful design and implementation of movement and interaction systems.




- Conduct user testing and iterate on designs based on feedback and performance data.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in VR/AR hardware, software, and design trends.
- Work closely with narrative designers and content creators to integrate story elements into immersive experiences.
- Optimize performance of virtual environments for seamless user experience across various devices.
- Document design processes and technical specifications for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, Digital Art, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in designing and developing VR/AR applications or immersive experiences.
- Proficiency with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine, including VR/AR SDK integration.
- Strong skills in 3D modeling, texturing, and animation software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max).
- Deep understanding of UX/UI principles applied to immersive environments.
- Experience with prototyping tools and interactive design methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, adept at working in a remote team environment.
- A portfolio showcasing compelling VR/AR projects is essential.
